Was this review helpful? They do not keep their promises. They hired me temporarily under the premises I would go full time within one week. They were dishonest about my salary and getting hired full time. A total waste of time. Senior Managment and the HR team are very gossipy. Stay away.

HRCG is all about work. HRCG is understaffed and makes salaried employees work many hours to pick up the slack. You are never compensated for all of the overtime and unable to take planned vacation days. Too overworked and underappreciated. I came to Hunter Roberts as an intern and then straight out of college. I had little experience as a Superintendent. On the field operation side, I have had good experiences and some not so good ones. The bad isn't necessarily a reflection of HRCG per se, but at times it felt as though the projects were too micromanaged.
The best managers here knew their staff and played to their strengths. There were also some jobs where a lot of weekends, nights, and OT hours were expected from field Superintendents.
I was lucky enough to be on a very high profile project in Manhattan, where my love and passion for Construction was allowed to flourish. I learned a ton about the field operations from some very knowledgeable and seasoned veterans. Challenging projects, teamwork mentality.
